Do you think Palm can steal Apple's thunder? Especially right as the new school year has started, and holiday shopping season is right around the corner. Palm's Pre was coined a potential iPhone-killer well ahead of its launch, but in the end it fizzled out - bad.
The Pixi is Palm's effort at an entry-level smartphone, and its rumored pricing pitches it at or about the same level as the iPhone 3G, which Apple chose to retain as the entry-level part of its inventory after releasing the 3GS.
I guess only time will tell if anything really can compete against the infamous iPhone!

Twitter Tip!
# on Twitter
See the “#” on Twitter and wonder what it could mean? The hashtag helps Twitter users designate keywords to conversations that are popular. For example, the swine flu pandemic recently discussed in the news has been designated as #swineflu. This is helpful for those who search for information about the swine flu in the future using Twitter’s search function.
To designate a keyword, tweet and let folks know about it. For example, I might tell friends and family to use #OnlineDiva to discuss my website.

Three Things About Learning...
I subscribe to emails from the Rapid eLearning Blog written by Tom at Articulate.com. His latest newsletter was really insightful. It was titled, "Three Things I Learned About Learning on My Deathbed."
Learning happens everyday, its how we function. In order for us to evolve and keep up with our changing society, we have to be open to learn. You can apply this theory to anything you want, really...fashion, cooking, technology, relationships, careers, parenting, etc.
Here are three rules to keep in mind about learning:
1. When You’re Interested in Something, You’re Motivated to Learn
2. Learning = Being Prepared to Try
3. Being Biased Makes It Hard to Learn
How do you apply these rules to your everyday life?

The iPhone 3GS is here!!!

Apple fans in the United States and seven other countries lined up Friday morning to be among the first to get their hands on the new iPhone 3GS, billed as the fastest, most feature-laden iPhone yet.
It went on sale Friday in six European countries -- France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom -- followed hours later by its release in Canada and the United States.
The new iPhone contains a processor that Apple claims is more than twice as fast as its 3G model, plus a video camera, voice control, longer battery life and a built-in compass. It comes with an upgraded operating system -- which Apple released Wednesday for download onto older iPhones -- with 100 new functions, including the ability to copy and paste text.
And, one thing that I really need: It even has a "Find my iPhone" feature that gives you your phone's GPS coordinates on MobileMe if you loose your iPhone! In addition, you can also use MobileMe to wipe personal data from your phone if it gets lost or stolen.
